Lekker Racing Team Story: A Man named Alex Light took a mechanic course. He travelled to South Africa. There he met a Man named Marcus Van der merwe. He was racing driver. The two went on to found Lekker Automotive Solutions. The word Lekker meaning nice. They soon started the Lekker Racing Team but as they started to develop a car they ran out of money. No one would sponsor them so they shut down the project. Finally, two years later a billionaire, Bob Clark, invested 2 Billion pounds into the company meaning that no other sponsors were needed. Only two logos are on the car. The triangle infinity symbol belongs to Bob Clark. The other is his company Speed, who specialise in aerodynamics. And that is how the Lekker Racing Team came to be.
