Let’s celebrate by drawing my characters in hats. —— Eternal Apprentice is a comic that I have been working on and sharing on Scratch. You can read the first chapter here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/843320692/ —— For this contest, you will pick a character from Eternal Apprentice and draw them wearing a hat. I think it would be fun. Feel free to anthropomorphize the characters and give them full outfits along with their hats, if you want to take it a step further. But just hats is perfectly fine too. —— Character references can be found here (for volume 1): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/858131932/ Here (for volume 2): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/874758331/ And here (volume 3): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/908205518/ —— Rules: - This should be obvious but it can’t hurt to say; No tracing (including tracing my art), bases, AI art, picrews, etc. All art must be by you. - This should also go without saying, but all art must be scratch appropriate. - Your entry must be a remix - I’d recommend colorpicking from the references. If you don’t know how, here’s a tutorial: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/927127893/ Characters’ fur and eye colors being significantly off will greatly decrease your chances of winning. - This is a fun, positive thing. Don’t make it negative by insulting your own or someone else’s art. That just makes everyone feel bad and ruins the vibe. This includes saying things like “your art is way better than mine”. Stop it. No one likes that. - Don’t ask to enter, just remix. - You can enter as many times as you want. - Feel free to ask any questions :) —— Prizes: 1st- A shaded fullbody or off-base custom design 2nd (there may be multiple)- An unshaded fullbody or on-base custom design Honorable mentions- An unshaded bust —— This will close on December 18th, at 8PM EST
Note: I get a notification when you remix. You don’t have to link your entry. This will close on December 18th, at 8PM EST Don’t know how to colorpick? Here’s a tutorial: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/927127893/ There will be one day extra of buffer for any late entries. After that, no more will be counted.
