Instructions

Fill in all the sections! for more info: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/89405451/ PLEASE READ "Sparklebirds" are not allowed. This means you are not allowed to have characters with unnatural colors (an exception obviously is if their species have these colors) ; i.e. pastel colors like pink and purple. No full heads of hair. Small ponytails are perfectly acceptable, but please don't give your birds locks of luscious hair. In a roleplay group full of talking birds, we'd at least like to retain some realism. You may have cloaks/etc, but please no full clothing. No more than four accessories. Each bird may have no more than four accessories at a time. Other Details: Please make last names either: -One word derived from nature or a characteristic (Feather, Wind) -A compound (Featherleaf, Windstrong) -Unusual surnames (Noyre, Bryar) -Nothing- they are optional, after all. ABOUT THE UPRISING: So you wanted to know all about our little Uprising hey? You'll have to promise you don't go blabbin' about all this, or we will kill you. Got it? Good. I guess I'll tell you from the beginning, long ago before any of the eldest elders flew the skies, and every bird's heart was filled with optimism and cheer, before them. A long time ago, an innocent (innocent enough, that is) Red Tailed Hawk wandered past the border of Litatio, the reason now lost in the countless retellings of this particular event. Pausing to take a drink, he was snatched by a large figure and taken to it's nest. Largely disputed is the identity of the hawk's captor, with some birds claiming it to be a nymph of the river, an overgrown badger, or even God, the daft birds will sometimes say. Regardless, while at the nest the hawk was changed, for the worse I'll say. On his leg was branded a metal ring, a ring to plague the nightmares of so many good souls for so many seasons afterwards. The mysterious marker then released the hawk into the forest once more, where he spread the story practically everywhere. Every bird was terrified, and he became an outcast instantly. What happened next has become known as the great Litatian insurrection here in our Uprising. The hawk was not the last to be marked you see, only the first. Soon dozens of birds were branded with these silver omens of death and destruction. In hiding, they all counted the days until they would overthrow the government of Litatio, and got what they greedily thought that they deserved. You see, all these marked birds viewed themselves as gods. In comparison, the citizens of Litatio should be treated as second-class citizens, slaves. They employed spies to infiltrate the council, until they one day struck. And strike they did. Soon an assassination was in order, and the Ambassador was killed by official Marked assassins, later discovered to be members on the council, who were in turn murdered by Uprising assassins. The Uprising was a group of birsds in their right minds led my a jackdaw of kair size and a spectacular mind. He led them into battle many a time, but not the conventional type- his battle was of the mind and the shadows, hiring Litatio's best assassins to kill for him at any time. Terrified of this new "Uprising", the Marked hid the causes of death, passing them as a new sickness, coining the term 'whitecold', something the Uprising still uses today. The jackdaw was found guilty of treason and conspiracy years later, and publicly executed, but not before ensuring the Uprising was organized long after his death. A 'jackdaw' is still used to describe a bird who gives their life to the Uprising now. As the Uprising grew and the Ambassador position was placed with pawn after pawn, the 'rebels', as they call us, continued to attack the Marked, who continued to adapt. We killed a few of their Superiors, too. Hell, my Dad even got one of those suckers in his prime- the current Superior's father, Raloq. They got him back though, he was killed almost.. almost the same day actually. *coughs* So now you come to Me and Kane, and that Jasmine character, if you can even count pawns. Everyday news of death comes to my chamber, and tensions are sparking, you can feel it in the air. I guess we'll just have to wait until they catch aflame...
