Hello everybody, my name is NoOneInParticuler and welcome back to funny har har har har har (mostly) cardboard things So... I had a Scout Open House where we were to present our Troop to Cub Scouts who were thinking of joining to see if they would be interested and we decided the theme would be: Five Nights at Fredby’s. So, I had the Freddy costume from when I made it for the church’s Halloween event, one of the other members would make a Bonnie costume and that left me with the task of making two animatronic costumes in less than a week. Here’s how it turned out. (Um, I deleted some photos, so this might not be accurate? Idk. I'll fix it tomorrow- I spent 3 days on this) 1. Prepping for group shot. All the costumes (except Bonnie) were made by me. I spent a day fixing up Freddy, 3 days making Chica, and two days on Foxy. The bonnie suit was made by someone else in the Troop and took them two days. They made theirs out of foam- obviously the smarter choice. Cardboard is the worst art medium ever. Never use it. It will only cause you pain and suffering. We had trouble finding people who could fit in the Chica costume (The torso was fit to me, and I realize now just how skinny I am. It’s a surreal experience. And the head was actually too small for me. I didn’t account for all the added layers of cardboard for size to squeeze the forehead as much as it did, but we found someone). 2. Group shot. I have favorite parts of each costume, as each one is very different from the others. I like Freddy’s stomach hatch (it looks ridiculous from the side), but it opens up to reveal mechanics and slots for electronic parts like wires and music box speakers. I like Chica’s head- the two part design was hard to figure out, but I found a way (a neck pillow/toilet bowl lid like design t wrap around the neck for the bottom jaw and using the top jaw like a hat). And Foxy’s head I really like. I spent an entire day on it (which is why the body looks half-worked). The jaw moves, I cut out the crater on his head and filled it with wires, metallic looking parts and I like his arms- I added metal rods to give an exposed endoskeleton look. 3. Group shot 2. 4. Group shot 3. 5. So, for Halloween our Troop just decided to meet in our costumes, and I remember as I walked out in mine, people were screaming. So I thought what if, before we all left, we all stand outside and wear the costumes and wave at the band kids as they walked back to put away their 5. instruments? Little did I expect what would happen next. People asked to take pictures with us. It was so fun :D 6. People taking photos 2 7. People taking photos 3 (Chica’s face lol) 8. POV: NoOne running from his responsibilities 9. People taking photos 4 10. People taking photos 5 11. People taking photos 6

Description

I borrowed a lot of stuff from... someone, I can't remember their username. I'll find it, eventually. I just moved to a new computer so all my Bookmarks are gone Most of the costumes were made by me with cardboard and fabric (except Bonnie) Most of the art and assets were probably Scott Cawthon
