woo another project! ⟡ this is the cover i made for my wip nano novel, genesis! i decided to post it here so those of you who don't have nano can see and those who do can see it better ehehe, hope you like it! i spent a lot of effort combining three different images into one and i'm pretty happy with how it turned out ^^ ⟡ and no, that is not how xena actually looks- in my mind, she has shoulder length blonde hair with the thunderbolt ahoge that fades to purple. however i cannot art and i figured this picture would work for the pose and i drew in the ahoge, as well as modified the hair a teeny bit. she does have blue eyes though, which is also edited. my eye drawing skills are questionable but i guess it looks kind of cool this way? ⟡ synopsis: “there is no such thing as a utopia. behind every seemingly seamless world, there is a flawed dystopia, waiting for whoever discovers the truth…” to most people, genesis is the perfect place to be, and their only home. to xena, it’s a whole different story. genesis is nothing but a cold and dark place, ruled by mad scientists who engineer microchips and modify dna with the intention to brainwash everyone in the city and attempting to create the perfect human being. that, is the truth. since young, she was different from the others in her group- rules were boundaries for her sometimes called too curious mind. in the eyes of the supremium, there was something wrong with her, and they would do anything in their power to hunt her down and modify generation z’s 702nd birth, to brainwash her, like how they supposedly did to everyone in genesis. it was time to cross the line. and the only way out, as she’ll discover, is the entrance to something more beautiful than she could ever have imagined. and no, it’s not a perfect world. “lies are what keeps us in, but the truth, no matter how flawed, is the truest utopia we’ll ever get.” ⟡ credits: - thumbnail and cover made by me on canva - three images found on google - me for very minimal edits eheheh - music is we fresh by kep1er (instrumental) and yes, i decided i liked the fairy tales pfp redirect thumbnail format that i came up with in minutes cause i was too lazy to unshare the project-
