This is an AU: Queen Scarlet had a secret daughter during her exile. Princess Flare was raised to be like her mother and when Scarlet lost the battle for the throne, Flare sought revenge. Scarlet’s ghost guided her as she prepared her revenge and taking of the throne. She killed Ruby on the cliff-top in the photo and waged war on the Rainwings, killing Queen Glory.
