I took one look at the design/oc and I was internally screaming at how pretty it is. At that point, I could already imagine how the piece would turn out/look like AND I'M SO PROUD RN?!!!??!!! (Pssst... The flat colouring took too long, too long. aT lEaSt 8 tImEs mOrE than the lineart??!!!) Notes/Trivia: - I didn't know what were those flecks on the hair so I just hoped for the best and went with a chalky texture - I imagined braids flying up for some reason when I was doing the sketch, I supposed I should have made the shading darker to make it seem more dynamic. - The sketch (click/space) took around 10 seconds— I am not exaggerating :OOOO I was about to head off to sleep and I couldn't let myself forget soooo... - I was originally going to just simply leave it off as a flat shaded pastel portrait, too lazy to render it, but the design said no to me! Tho I'm really proud of the result in the end. (In my opinion, it was way better than the flat-shaded one—) - I missed out the ribbon/leaves right beneath the chin at first. Only realised it after taking a look at the ref. - I can't help but think that the bandage looks weird— - Peach jello overtook my mind when I was rendering
