He is extremely loyal to his friends and clan, and he is aggrieved whenever they are hurt. Due to his want for safety, Puf is constantly anxious and tries to please others. Unfortunately, this has led to him being self-critical and, sometimes, untruthful to keep others happy. Events throughout his life have also appended to his overall stress, causing him to feel exhausted and rather gloomy. ∼∽❁∼∽❁∼∽❁∼∽❁∼∽❁∼∽❁ ✧︱ｅｘｐｅｒｉｅｎｃｅｓ ｀、ヽ｀ヽ｀、 ➤ the desertion (6 moons old): Puffinpaw's mother left for Trinket Square once he became an apprentice. Greatly impacted by his mother's abandonment, Puf has a strong fear of being left by his loved ones. This has caused him to be overly protective. He has also falsified his emotions in attempts to keep his relationships "perfect." ➤ the sickness (8 moons old): After Seaclan's medicine cat's sudden death, a unknown sickness raged through the clan. Unaffected by the illness, Puffinpaw became one of the apprentices to care for the sick. Through this experience, he gained decent herb knowledge. ➤ the invasion (9 moons old): The clan weakened by the sickness and their leader gone in search of a cure, Seaclan was taken over by heartless rogues. Prey became nearly impossible to find, and many cats died. ➤ the attack (10 moons): After meeting Swivelpaw, Puf followed his new friend to camp, and accidentally into the rogue's paws. Swiv & Puf were defenseless against the rogues, who found frightening the clanners amusing. Puf gained a his back scar from this. ➤ the aftermath (11 to 14 moons old): After the rogues were driven out, Puffinpaw was still experiencing great amounts of panic. As he attempted to recover, he and Swivelpaw got into some more troublesome predicaments caused by their desire to keep the other safe. ➤ the gully (15 moons old): Their self guilt at an all-time high, both Swivelpaw and Puffinpaw blamed themselves for "causing" the other harm. Swivelpaw decided to leave, believing she was the reason for Puf's hardships. When leaving, however, she fell into an infamous gully. Puf went out to search for her, and, ultimately, ended up getting a concussion. ➤ the coma (15 moons old): Once rescued, Swivelpaw left Seaclan, while Puffinpaw fell into a coma. This experience filled Puf with a renewed determination to be with Swivelpaw (not knowing of her absence). ➤ the awakening (16 moons old): Coming out of his coma, Puffinpaw is now regaining his strength.
