here’s my entry! I’ve been reading the land of stories lately, so ive been drawing fairies a lot. lots of lore in this entry as well. her name is Chloe, a nickname for “Cloudy” Backstory combines Percy Jackson and fairies haha. she has air powers as well as a few water and fire powers.
drawn all in scratch vector. sorry for taking so much time aaa 24k_v4mp for the contest okay, so fairy culture, fire, water, air, and earth are all four elements. in fairy society, you have one main element, and two side elements. side elements give you access to a few powers related to them. a type of fairy, however, is depended on eye color at birth. dark blue eyes mean they are probably an ocean or sea fairy, wielding the element of water. amber eyes mean they are a fire fairy master fire. brown or green eyes represent dirt or plant fairies, wielding earth powers, and light blue means sky or cloud fairies and air powers. names are always based on the type of fairy. dirt fairies are at the bottom so social status :( Chloe’s backstory: the queen and king of the land of fairies gave birth to a little daughter, who had light blue eyes . immediately, the queen knew her daughter was a sky fairy. a sky fairy. that type of fairy didn’t appear in history for fifty years, not since the queen banished sylvia, the last of her kind. or so they thought. and so the little girl was given the name chloe. a fairy wielding the power of air is considered extremely dangerous, because the sky is huge, which means they have lots of power and access to spells, their side elements are also water and fire, two of the next most powerful, except for mutated fairies who have an extra third or having earth instead of water. anyways, chloe was banished as soon as she showed the first sign of power, and she fled. with no errands to do except eat or sleep, chloe weaved a shirt out of clouds, a skirt out of bluebird feathers, and shoes from snowflakes, and kept practicing her magic, until she became the most powerful fairy, banished or not to ever live. banishment from her own parents broke her heart and her spirit, so she never bothered to control the world although she very well could. she also thought she wouldn’t be cruel to her parents because they, well, are her parents. she cast a spell of immortality on herself, so she never died. the sad story of Chloe. the end.
