welcome to... (drumroll please) ₃d: тнe вaѕιcѕ Click "See Inside" to see what goes into making the sprite appear Three dimensional. I added notes so you can see what each script does and why it's used in the project! Whats 3D? .*.*.*.*.*.*.*. 3D stands for three - dimensional. For example, "Three dimensional figures.". You may have heard that sometime in school / math or any other time related to learning. A 3D environment is a place that involves the common X and Y axes, as well as the additional Z axis. The Z axis is a Cartesian coordinate, much like the X and Y axes, but the Z axis usually is the axis for depth. In real life, the Z axis exists, but in Scratch, it does not. We can incorporate size and movement that causes an illusion of depth. Some different blocks used to create 3D effects and along with that are their categories. Custom blocks (More Blocks) Variables (Data) Stamp (Pen) Mouse x and mouse y (Sensing) Change y by and change x by (Motion) Cloning (Control) Set ___ effect to ___ (Looks) ___ * or - or + or / ___ (Operators) These are some more ways but these are the most common. As you can see, 3D projects use most categories (Pen, Looks, Data, Etc.,). They take a while to get the hang of and master. 3D PREP TALK .*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*. Please note that just checking out this project will not show you how to FLUENTLY create Three-Dimensional objects/items.There is many people who attempt and fail at 3D projects when they just try to code it. 3D takes skill and a long time to learn how to do correctly and fluently. I will be making these 3D projects to help you, but please do not view all of them and then try to code, and if you fail, get mad at me. Like I said, 3D coding doesn't just come naturally. You have to put in the work and practice and start making better, and better, and better 3D projects until one day you master it. 3D is one of the most challenging features on scratch and even the Scratch Team never intended it to be coded / nor mean to put in blocks that allowed you to do it. This information was from the Official Scratch Wiki; it is very reliable. Scratch wasn't MEANT for 3D projects. If you aren't the best at it, don't be mad. We all have our thing. I hope these projects can help you learn the idea of three dimensional objects and help you whenever you attempt your first try at 3D.
