Space and click Built in 1917 by Baldwin Locomotive Works for Russian Railways. However the engine was stranded in the USA when Russia canceled the order, the engine was Americanized and sold to the Swatara Creek & Berks County Railroad in Pennsylvania as number 15. The engine had white lining and white wall wheels. The engine became the premier freight engine on the line handling the largest and most important freight move's. in 1923 the engine lost the white walls on it's drivers after hitting a truck at a level crossing at 7 MPH. In 1939 15 was repainted losing the white lining. In 1954 the engine was retired from regular use and replaced by diesels, despite being retired the engine was kept as a backup engine until 1959 where the engine was sold into private ownership. The engine would move to a collection in Maryland for 4 years. In 1963 the engine was purchased by a railroad museum in mid PA where it was restored to operation after 6 years. Today the engine still operates on museum grounds
