UPDATE: Okay, so a few people have said that they don't think sapiosexual should count as it's own sexual orientation. People are entitled to their own opinions, and there is a lot of controversy surrounding this sexuality, but it's also my fault because I think I might have accidentally deleted the slide that explained what made sapiosexual different from just finding intelligence attractive. Basically, just finding intelligence attractive would mean that you can find someone attractive without it. I've never been too sure how to explain this because I feel like I'm calling people stupid, but that's not it. Sapiosexual has been called people's way o being prejudiced or picky because it does seem like it has high standards that are realy just calling other people stupid. What sets sapioseuality apart from finding intelligence attractive is that you need to feel mentally stimulated by a person in order to feel attracted to them. So, maybe if you had a really deep conversation, or they were talking about something with a lot of passion, or they challenged your ideas, you would find them more attractive. You can't actually feel attracted to someone until something like this has happened.
