How I see the lore,please note it’s very long oof (this isn’t canon): Prologue: Lane was born into one of the richest families. She had a nice and comfortable life,but one day she met a poor cat:axel. Lane decided to help Axel,as he lost his family,and her parents let him live at her house (not in a sibling way of course smh) on the way the also met Rowan,a random dude nobody liked. They became friends,and Axel and Lane soon fell in love. However,on the day Lane would confess,Axel was exploring her house and found a huge vault of money. He would take some,buy a gift for Lane,and go confess,but his greed got the better of him and he stole the money for only himself. Lane’s family were distraught,and swore to punish whoever stole from them. Axel decided to try and frame others,but it went wrong. He started a war. He killed lane’s parents (they gave her a sapphire before they died). He betrayed Lane. He was captured by Lane and killed,and Lane would never want to see him again. A demon also roamed,and Axel (ghost) decided to pay it to get lane dead,and with him forever. The demon failed,and Axel punished it by sending it to another world (limbo) but the demon shape-shifted into him,but different,as it had a good heart. It woke up in limbo,not remembering anything,and set off to find a way home. It accidentally fell through a portal,and through the department of dimensions. Current (where the story is set): Alaina met Lane,and Alaina wanted to play with her,telling her to relax. Rowan also became friends with Alaina. After some time,Lane gave her the flower she would have given to Axel. That made Axel mad. He came out of the spiritrealms (a world where deceased cats live) and haunted lane,which made her feel uneasy about Alaina,seeing her as Axel at times. Rowan didn’t like this,and tried to tell Lane that Alaina wasn’t evil,but Lane didn’t listen,and left,angering Rowan and upsetting Alaina. Alaina and Rowan set out to find Lane,however Rowan could not pass the gates,but Alaina could. She found Lane fighting her hallucinations,but she fell,injured. Alaina ran to her side,and banished Axel,bringing Lane to life. They confessed their love,and went home. Epilogue: Alaina and Lane live together,and have adopted Bosco,who was found in a burning forest. Alaina has dreams of Limbo,and Axel has managed to enter her,Lane and Bosco’s dreams. She now strives to banish Axel forever,bringing peace.
