yayyyy newest addition to this series! maybe my favorite one (of mine) so far :D this is a redraw of a shot from fight the future (possibly my favorite movie ever). i picked it for the lighting, colors, and m&s having such delightfully messed up hair >u< (i always laugh in this scene lkajdsflksaldfjlkd) (honestly tho this scene is so relatable bc TEXAS man that freakin’ wind) 1 | final piece :D 2 | reference! (i love them so much JSDLFKJ) 3 | first sketch, getting the proportions correct and just vaguely sketching it out 4 | second sketch—detailing a bit more 5 | lineart~~ not a ton to say here, but i promise it looks better with color 6 | speak of the devil! here’s some color (and some for the lineart too) 7 | dark shading. i used two layers for this, one for a layer over most things and another to darken up the darker shadows—set to multiply 8 | some light shading in two different tones (purple and pink)—set to overlay 9 | more tonal variation in this layer, I think I used overlay for this too ^^ 10 | backgroundddddd (i used some chromatic aberration to get the effect on the clouds) 11 | some fun textures and we’re done! credits | characters/reference image from the X-files, not mine all art by me! audio is The Scientist by Coldplay
