At the start of this week, we mustered up the courage to get into the building. We were immediately ambushed by zombies, but they weren't the braindead that we usually saw. They had a bunch of cables in their heads, and their moves were calculated. We were defeated scarily easily, but they didn't infect us. Instead, they took us to a large room. Birch was angry, I was confused, and Tucker was scared. The white cat I saw last week stood on a platform and looked down on us physically and verbally. He told us his name was "Frost," though he preferred if Tucker called him "Dad." Tucker stared up at him and asked why he was doing that. Apparently, when the zombies broke out, it was because humans took Tucker from Frost, so he created the zombies to keep Tucker safe and make it easier to find him. He pointed to a giant and shiny rock and told us that it "controlled" the zombies. The zombies weren't able to hunt down and kill anyone of Frost's kin, which meant Tucker was immune from the start. I asked why a zombie chased him up a tree - that's how I met Tucker, and he explained that the zombies were trying to get Tucker and bring him to Frost. He then asked if Tucker would like to make Birch and me immune to the zombies, when I spoke up again and told him I was already immune... somewhat. That's for another week to explain. Tucker told Frost that the zombies killed my family, and they ruined all of our lives even if we got past. Frost cackled and said that over the course of 4 weeks if we could get the gem - which he called the "Peau," he would destroy it, which then would kill all of the zombies and make them the normal cats again. I would be happy, but my father starved before the zombie outbreak and my mother was hit by a car as a zombie - I would still not have either of my parents back. Nevertheless, we all agreed to it. He showed us around, and he even got rooms ready for us. I'm unfazed, and I'm going to destroy that rock. No matter what it costs.
Whew, this one is long. I'm working on making drawings of the three's parents so we have a better look at them. Also, all of this is extremely vaguely planned, so we'll see how it goes!
