Please keep in mind that these are just random parts, not in chronological order. I should probably change that- Also, this isn't all of it, because then that would be too many spoilers! Feel free to theorize tho!) ---------- Poison woke up, but...they didn't? "That's because you're in a dream," a powerful, echoing voice spoke. Poison turned to see a glowing figure. The color and shape was unidentifiable, and it was impossible to tell what it was, or even tell if it was Mammalian or not. "Come...meet your brethren..." it whispered, and Poison's paws began moving by themselves. He'd never felt more scared in his life. ---------- Poison whirled around to face the voice. The cat that stepped out of the shadows was familiar, but Poison didn't know them. "Y-you were in my dream!" Poison cried. "No, I wasn't in your dream, we were *sharing* a dream, caused by the Entity," the other cat replied in a smooth voice, as they padded up closer to Poison. "Hmm, you must be Poison. I'm Toxin, pleasure to meet you. Don't our names go perfectly together? Poison and Toxin. Heh, imagine if we made a friend named Venom. Do you know the differences between those names, by any chance?" "Wh- no? And how do you know my name?!" "Hmmm? The Entity told me. Did it not tell you?" "N-" Poison was cut off as they noticed several spiders surrounding them. "Oh, don't mind them, they're my friends," Toxin emphasized the word 'friends' in a strange way, and Poison had the feeling this cat was hiding something... ---------- An almost white Gemlin with fins got out of the water. Her paws and the insides of her ears were a dark charcoal gray, and on eye was blue and the other purple. She had a pattern of charcoal stars and speckles across her sides that looked like a reverse night sky, and the light laughter that was coming from her sounded like bells. "Yeah, I get that reaction a lot. Apparently my home is 'SUCH a beautiful crystal cave'," she said. "I'm Opal, by the way, and you're staring." "Oh, sorry, so this place is yours?" Poison said awkwardly. "Yes! And I recognize you from the dream sent by the Entity," Opal replied. "You too?! How come I don't recognize anyone?" Poison yelped a bit indignantly. "Oh? Who are the others?" Opal asked, ignoring the other part of Poison's statement. "Wait, it's Toxin, isn't it?" "How are you so good at guessing things? Are you sure you haven't been spying on me?" Poison edged away a bit. "No...it's just that, every other of the 'brethren' I've met have all met Toxin, and so have I...There's something off about them, I can tell you that. I'm not sure I trust them..." Opal muttered. Poison couldn't help but think the same, not matter how much he was wrong. ---------- (!!!WARINING!!! MENTIONS BLOOD!!!) "RUN!" Toxin screeched at them. "B-but what about you?! Or Opal?! Or-or-" Poison was yelling breathlessly, trying not to cry as they thought of Opal. "Just LEAVE! It's you they want!" Toxin cried almost desperatley to him."Just go, before I make you!" they yell as more spider surround their enemies. Deep inside, there's no denying that Toxin's words were right, but that didn't make it easier for Poison. With one final look at the raging battle, a bloodied Toxin and their friends, and Opal's unmoving body, splayed agains the ground like a ragdoll, Poison ran. ---------- They were a coward. Nothing changed that fact. They had run, without even trying to help. That was the mark of true cowardice. ---------- (!!!WARNING!!! POSSIBLE DEATH!!!) "Wake up, wake up, please-" Opal whispered quietly, grooming Toxin's fur. "I hate the Entity, I HATE IT IT KILLED TOXIN-" Poison screeched, on the verge of tears. "That's not true,' Opal said, "Toxin still might wake up, and it wasn't the Entity that hurt them, it was-" "Me." Poison whispered quietly."This was all my fault." "W-what?! No! None of this was your fault, Poison, look at me," Opal said fiercely. "No! There's no way anyone except the Entity could've survived that fall, let alone Toxin! And they did it for ME, this is MY fault, Opal, you don't understand-" "But I DO, it's you who doesn't understand, Poison-" Opal was cut off by a small, strange noise. ---------- That's it for now, I will add most of my ideas to this, so stay tuned! Also, please correct my grammatical mistakes. This is a rough draft for the actual comic, and I don't want to make any mistakes there! And, don't forget, you're amazing no matter what. -Izumi
