TW! DE@TH “What?!? No I didn’t! I passed out!” He laughed. “We thought that too and when we went to pick you up-” He held up his wrists. “Cat though…” I sit up. “No… I passed out. I don’t remember anything after you said you.” He smiled and shook his head. The bed in front of me flickered and Harper sat down in front of me. “Give her a break, Rowan. I had the blackouts too. Still do.” She rolled her neck as I jumped. “How long have you been there?” “Three hours.” “WHAT?!?!” Rowan was stifling laughter. “Shut it you two. Lillian, you missed dinner.” I tried not to pout like a child. “I want to go home…” They looked at me, shocked. “But… You belong here…” He stared at me. We had argued for hours until he gave in. Now we were standing in an old box, the faces of the people who had greeted us were grinning. They didn’t like me. I could tell. He exhaled. “Ready?” I nodded and closed my eyes. As soon as I did, I heard a whoosh. And just like that, time stopped. I opened one eye and glanced at Rowan, who was holding my hand. “Well… Sorry. Bye. Lambin.” Then he poofed away along with everyone else as I blacked out. So that’s the story of how I di3d at 14. There’s no big thing. I’m here. You’re here. Now go away! You still have a life to live.
