Well, in panel 1, the kitten in the bottom left (Sophie) has stripes in-between the stripes on her head. That makes them two-sided stripes. The kitten in the top left (Pine) has regular stripes. Those are one-sided stripes. There’s also the orange tabby kitten, Dewey. This isn’t as important to the one-sided-two-sided thing, but his stripes are thicker and end in points, making them triangle stripes, whereas Sophie and Pine have line stripes. hooray I have terms for my stripe styles
