Description: The Crow is the cold embrace of death. It has no age, it has no emotion. It is simply a force of nature. The Crow manifests as a dark purple spirit, wearing a skull mask that resembles the beak of a crow. It has two scythe-like appendages attached to its body by grey bones. When your time has come, the Crow appears to watch you. Only you can see the Crow which has come to claim your soul. When you finally die, the Crow rips your soul from your body, and stores the soul within itself, until it can release your soul at wherever it is you go when you die. Abilities: Timelessness The Crow is beyond time, as it can be wherever it needs to be, regardless of whether it needs to be somewhere else at the time as well. The Crow that claimed the soul cavemen 10,000 years ago is no different than the Crow that claims your soul in the modern day. Soul Snatching The Crow can steal the soul from anyone’s body, regardless of whether they are about to die or not. However, the Crow only snatches the souls of those about to die out of principle. Fledglings Fledglings are small, smiling sprites with glowing blue arms. These spirits are eternal servants of the Crow. They are made of the most evil souls that the Crow harvests, cursed to never reach the afterlife. The Crow uses them to seek out those who have cheated death. Fledglings have abilities such as intangibility, life draining, and shapeshifting. They are often tricksters, using these abilities to catch you by surprise, so the Crow may take your soul easier. Immortality You cannot kill the Crow in a way that matters. If you somehow manage to destroy the physical manifestation that has come after you, another Crow arrives to claim your soul. No matter what you do, there will always be a Crow to claim your soul. Mark of the Crow If the Crow wishes to, it can give you the Mark of the Crow. Having the Mark of the Crow allows you to know when others are soon to die, and it will give you time to prevent their deaths. However, it won’t give you a warning of your own death. It also accelerates your regeneration, and prolongs your own life. Withering The Crow can drain the life force of living things in close proximity to it. This only occurs to targets it chooses. Unknown There is still much to be learned about the Crow. We are not sure if the abilities listed are the full extent of its power. It performs many feats that we have not yet found an explanation to.
