Jared attempts to escape the clutches of his captor. CONTEXT: All this time, Jared has been running. Running and not stopping. Running from his mind. He's in a prison, where? He doesn't know. His captor noticed. But the voices of his friends, those in his head, told him to keep running, and never look back. He's been running since phase 1. He is terrified of what he'll see if he looks back, and even though his legs are on the verge of giving out, he keeps running, running for his own life. His world collapses around him, and he'll never be the same. His friends, his colleagues, his family. He doesn't know if they'll ever see him the same way. He has found out the hard way that his stamina is not infinite, but a very large pool. At this very moment, our friend is on the verge of life and death, running as fast as he can for dear life. Will he make it? Or will he fall back into the clutches of Sonic.EXE? Only time will tell.
