Howdy! It’s your friendly neighborhood chaotic piece of bread here to talk about her art once again! For the last few weeks, I found myself hating on the art I made during June-August. And know I think I know why. I wasn’t putting passion in them. If you take a look at my art from the past few months. You can tell that somethings looked off. The proportions were inconsistent, some spots weren’t colored, and the shading was messy. It’s even more noticeable in the panels of CE around ch. 6-9. “But Toast, don’t you hate all your old art? What’s the problem with your art from the last few months?” Yeah, I do hate my old art like most people do. But there’s one thing I can tell you: Most of my old art was made with passion. I was getting really lazy during this summer because I felt like I had to post a bunch of art here. And I shouldn’t! I want to be happy making art for myself! Heck, look at my art dumps from June-August. Can you guess what most of the art was in there? Doodles with no background that I made under 10 minutes. That really shows how little care I put into my art at the time. But around last week or so, I just decided to work harder. And you can see the difference. My newer art looks better than ever because I put extra time making sure it was something IM proud of, not a scribble I made just for content. If there’s anything you could take away from this, it’s this: Make your art something you are proud of, because that makes it special. Don’t make art just to get validation or fame, because your art will reflect that. [Or you could, I can’t control your decisions anyway :] ] I think I like ELA to much I’m writing a literal essay lol
