RAHHHH GINGER HCs BECAUSE THERE'S A LOT also here's some art from a small comic im making pffft ((dw guys it's a ginsidian comic)) 1. he speaks french i think this one works lmao since in ww1 england and france were allies, and he either picked it up from the french soldiers or was drafted to go and fight with the french soldiers because he spoke french. also over here in england french is probably the most taught language pffft 2. he can read/write in Latin !!!! ok more language hcs BUTTT idk i feel like this is something he would know because he just seems like a smart fella and latin is typically something taught at grammar schools (i had to do latin for two years at my school and then i switched to classics hehehe). 2a. he calls obsidian cute things in latin !!! basically part 2 to the previous one pffft- i think he would call obsidian stuff like "amata" (beloved), "carissima" (dearest) and "mea vita" (my life) idk i just think it's super cute :3 3. makes his own tea :0 okkk so this is kinda canon but i was already hcing this before the tea comic came out so shut up ☠ obviously he makes ginger tea but i think he would make stinging nettle tea ((it's more common than you might think and tastes quite nice)) which he forces obsidian to drink lmao 4. can play the grand pianooooo just something i think would suit him HAHAHA 5. has the goofiest purr of all time ☠ i think it would be kinda grainy and really deep because im hilarious and think it would be silly considering hes so short 5a. hardly ever purrs more purring stuff,,, but yeah i dont think he purrs much because hes kinda embarrassed about it so he only tends to purr around obsidisn <333 nyehehehe i love them so much 6. calls obsidian sidi !!!!!!! <333 GAHHHH I JUST THINK THIS IS ADORABLE SJDJKSJDJSJKSJ i love pet names sobbing 7. has a really cute/high pitched and quiet sneeze i think smthn like this would make some cute ginsidian drawing ideas !!! and i think obsidian teasing ginger about it would be really cute too haha 8. despises earl grey tea this will make sense if you've seen the rps LMAO it mostly came from milos weird obsession with it and how its overrated and boring 9. loud bangs absolutely /terrify/ him mostly comes from his war ptsd; ww1 was mostly just each alliance trying to wear each other down as quickly as possible which resulted in an insane amount of shells being sent out everyday. this constant paranoia of being blown to smithereens kinda carried back into his normal life so yeah haha 10. his favourite sweet thing/baked good idk is panettone another random one that i just think works lol 11. makes paper as a hobby !! i think this sorta hobby would work since its apparently relatively therapeutic + i think he writes silly love letters/notes to obsidian on them <333 12. calls oswald os yes 13. plays/likes/watches cricket !!!!!!!! as a British person i can confirm everyone over here is obsessed with cricket ☠☠☠ ((me included crying)) i think he once tried teaching it to obsidian but gave up because obsidian couldnt hold the bat well lmao 14. has a desk with a small drawer where he keeps all of the small trinkets + letters obsidian ever gave him :] can you tell i love ginsidian idk i think when he cant sleep he reads through all the letters because they make him super calm and happy 15. incredibly good at mazes ((like corn mazes lol)) since in ww1 the trenches were dug out in zigzags/random shapes and directions, he learnt to be good at mazes and manages to navigate them quite well YEAHHH i probably have some more that i forgot about lol feel free to make any of these canon teehee
