Here is Valencia, my little gossip. Backstory: The Defts has served the royal family for as long as any living dragon can remember. Each generation, at least one child would continue on their history of servitude, and pass on the tradition. Valencia was no different, she was born to her mother along with two other sisters, and learned quickly the rules of respect and how to perfectly do all of the chores she was suppose to. Valencia’s first sister, Daisy, did… okay, at her job. She didn’t see it as very important and often got distracted with other aspects of life. Valencia’s second sister, Seline, thought the position beneath her, and cut ties with her family, finding it more rewarding and exciting to risk the harsh savannah rather than live the boring life of a servant. Valencia was not like either of her sisters, and took her position very seriously. She was quickly promoted by Fenrix, the emperor at the time, and she served him loyally for several years. Eventually, she was made a Chamberlain of the royals. Though she took this position very seriously, she also liked all the gossip it got her; she knew everything that was going on inside the castle. When Emperor Fenrix died, she was saddened, but this sadness was overpowered by her curiosity for the newly appointed empress, Valmire. For her record of obedience and patience, she was appointed again to act as a chambermaid. She took this position graciously, and tries her very best to attend to the empress’s needs while still not agitating the snippy dragon. Though she is the first to stamp out any untrue, exaggerated rumors about Empress Valmire’s chaotic behaviors, it would be a lie to say she wasn’t extremely interested about her, and why she was the one the artifact chose.
