Scratch Cat never really felt like he fit in. He never really felt like he belonged. He felt unwanted. Unneeded. Eventually, he had enough. When an opportunity arose, an opportunity to escape, to be free from the harrowing world, an opportunity of death, he took it. And in that instant, he was freed. Sure, he was dead, but he had never felt more alive. He felt safe, nothing could really kill you if you were already dead...right? Alas, he was freed from the world, but now he was stuck once again, stuck in his own mind, his own reality that he had created. There was no passing time. There was no outside world. Only him and his thoughts, him and his room. His reflection was not of himself, but of his real self, still trapped, rotting, dead. Trapped, rotting; isn't that was he was even in his own mind? Was death really the right decision?
