Instructions

Up to Jump Left and Right to Move Down to Aim Down (and to fall faster while in the air) Z to Attack. The Portal Pencil will bounce Stfyl into the air when colliding with objects if aimed downwards. X to Shadow Dash (totally original name do not sue). Shadow Dashing gives you invulnerability C to look up, used for aiming your attacks up without jumping HOLD V to Charge/Focus, restores missing Crowns as long as you have at least 33 SOUL in your SOUL bar and one Crown missing. PRESS V + Any Direction to perform a Soul Move, requires 33 SOUL to use (V+UP: Shadow Screech. powerful SOUL blast aimed towards the sky) (V+No direction/Left/Right: Ghoul Shot, ranged projectile with decent damage, also boosts you into the air just slightly) (V+DOWN: Dark Drop, floor clearing SOUL slam that grants temporary Invulnerability while active) WIP Tools: Press J to give yourself max SOUL (200 total) Press K to set Styfl to 1 HP, used for testing the death animation and the alternate "injured" variants of her animations Press L to set Styfl to 8(full) HP, just used for convenience) Press R to reset the game without pressing the Green Flag.

Description

(CURRENTLY WORK IN PROGRESS! Adding a new enemy!) Credit to my friend @Peckled for the name "Pastel Knight" and the renaming of Masks to Crowns An extremely modified version of my "Applehead: The STICKMAN" engine, missing the frontflip when jumping and the Parry from "Applehead: The Serpent", featuring Styfl, the (uh... I actually have no idea what she is supposed to be), in a Hollow Knight-inspired fangame. This project is still WORK IN PROGRESS, I am actively adding stuff to it, and sometimes the game may be broken when you click on it. v0.1 Features: Working SOUL and CROWNS bar Enemy that gives SOUL when taking damage Added the ability to kill the enemy Added SOUL Stones that give more SOUL than enemies Programmed Damaging Spikes Programmed Damaging Enemies Reworked Styfl's Death Animation Added Healing/Focus Added Idle Animation Added Alternate animations when at low health Programmed Nailbouncing Added some Hollow Knight sound effects to replace the Applehead ones (and added some background music) PLANNED FEATURES: SOUL attacks Actual Enemies instead of only the wiggler waddle doo looking thing More screen layouts Probably a Boss fight at some point better controls(?) v0.2 Added Ghoul Shot, tap V to launch a ghostly blast! (Requires 33 SOUL to use.) Swapped the Look Up button with the SOUL Move button v0.3 Swapped the SOUL Move button with the Look Up button because it was extremely awkward to get used to Added the Howling Wraiths equivalent, Shadow Screech (Press V and Up/C at the same time) Added a new enemy, the lil blue gnat thing. Will drop to the ground when Stfyl passes under it, and will attempt to crawl after Styfl if it misses its target. v0.4 Added the "Descending Dark" equivalent, Dark Drop Added a new red copter enemy, will very slowly chase after Stfyl if she is close enough, otherwise it will just hover around idly v0.5 Added some different screens, and added the ability to change screens by going left and right. Added a new animation when Styfl spawns in. Made enemies get knocked away from Styfl when taking damage Added collectable Cookies that come from Cookie Rocks v0.6 Reduced the enemy knockback when hit with a SOUL attack Replaced the Styfl's "Dark Dagger" weapon with the "Purple Portal Pencil", since it fits better with the game's name and theme, Pastel Knight Edited the first screen. Fixed the bugged Cookie drops, there was some copied and pasted code that resulted in it not working properly but I finally caught the issue and fixed it. Made enemy spawns consistent rather than being completely RNG Adjusted the positioning of Styfl's intro animation so she no longer clips into the floor Fixed issue where Styfl can attack during the intro animation (thanks to @Free_NightXx for pointing this bug out!) v0.7 Added a magnet effect when you get close enough to a Cookie collectible Added a couple of extra rooms Added a room-warp when taking damage from Spikes to prevent softlocks
