He was 8 years old when his parents died of an unknown disease. Ari ventured on into the dark caves where he found a city. He lived there for several years and met other children. He met Olivia the cat, Ray the capybara, and Orui the poodle. They welcomed him kindly. Ari was great friends with Orui. They played together, ran together, jumped in puddles together, and more. Orui didn't mind the other children. Then one day, Olivia talked to Ari and how she was hoping they would become good friends. Ari and Olivia started playing. They played for a long time. Ray, (Orui's Old friend,) saw them playing and asked if he could join in. Ray, Ari, and Olivia played. They became great friends. Orui stared at the other kids as they played. She became jealous. She became really jealous. It had been so long that Ari didn't remember Orui anymore. Orui knew that Olivia and Ray were in the way. One night, on Ray's birthday, Ari had come to give him a gift. Strangely, Ray was nowhere in sight. Ari looked everywhere in cave city. He couldn't find Ray OR Olivia. Ari walked into the cave hotel. He climbed up to the attic and put his ear to the door. He heard heavy breathing. Ari opened the door. Orui was standing at the wall, a bl00dy kn_fe in her hand. There were two coffins in the dark corner. "You shouldn't have come here.." Orui said. Ari ran as fast as he can from the cave. He leaped out before the entire cave and city exploded. Ari fell and broke his wing and ear. He grabbed a leaf and used it as bandages. He ran far into the forest. Everyone he knew was gone. The explosion had caused one of the "Crystals of light" to explode. The crystals keep the darkness from taking over the land. A huge darkness rose from the mist. Ari was no longer safe..and he would have to fight. That backstory really needs more effort :')
