Update: I identify as non-binary, not neogirl, but I am leaving this project up to educate more people on what is means to be a neogirl. Update: Added a slide to the end. I will probably add more information as I continue to do research into different genders. Press space to change the page. (i am sorry that this does not have anything about coming out. I do not have any real info on that, other than come out when you feel ready, and for some reason, it helps to come out in the car. I'm currently out only on Scratch, so I'm not really the one to ask. I wanted to include coming out, but my plans to come out today were derailed and the only person who ever came out to me did so by accident.
One thing I forgot to mention in the project. Transgender is usually thought of as being transfem or transmasc, but as an umbrella term it can encompass anyone who does not identify with their AGAB. Therefor, neogirl would fall under the trans umbrella. Keep in mind that many neogirls may not wish to be called trans, and many trans people may not use/want to use trans to mean anyone who does not identify as their AGAB. I am including this only so that it provides more info on neogirls. So yes, that would make a neogirl technically transfem, if they wanted to use the term as either an identity or an umbrella term. While I use it as a commonly understood umbrella that I fall under, I do not use transfem as my identity for two reasons. One, trans is already it's own identity and I am content with my label, and two, people then assume that I am AMAB. I'm not, so I just say neogirl, or neofeminine, which I think sounds better. Either way, you can use whatever labels feel best to you. This is just some info I forgot to include.
