It corrupts them in different ways, for example; you suddenly want your loved one to be all perfect/etc. From all the Corrupted guardians, there is only one that is Pure. Truth is, the 'Corrupter' only possess mixed-blood animals who became guardians, in other words, curse them. The Corrupting only starts when they are aged 13.
