As you have read already, my name is Ceacea, and I will be your host for this friendly competition! Let me start off by saying thanks to @Acersnout! I saw their project, Story Competition, and I thought to myself: “There so many amazing art competitions on Scratch, but not enough writing! That’s a great idea!” That was just the spark for this idea. I love writing so so much, and dream to become an author someday. I want other young authors to be able to share their wonderful writing and stories with one another. I think talking to people can be scary, and writing has helped me to communicate with others in a way that makes me feel comfortable. I love writing, and if you are reading this, I hope you do too. If not, I don’t mind! ;) Anyways, why not add a friendly competition to it? Who’s up for a challenge? Description~ —————— Okiedokie! Here we are! If you didn’t know already, this is going to be a writing competition! I will make a prompt for the stories, in which you and that glorious mind of yours will create. There will be a given deadline, but if need be, I may push it back more to give you additional time. There will be a 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. With each place, there will be a prize. If you are not of the chosen winners, I want you to know that you are all still winners. You worked hard, and you should be proud of yourself no matter what. It is important to me that you all know that you’re all equal, and that you deserve the best. :) Okay, we covered the prompts, the time, the places & prizes, what else…I think that’s it! I am so excited to see all of the magnificent stories that you people come up with! I have always loved reading, and I can not wait to see what y’all have in stock! So please don’t get all “I’m going to get revenge now because I didn’t get 1st place!” No. Please do not do that. Prompt~ —————— Alright, finally, after a few weeks, I am ready to share with you all the prompt. I sincerely apologize for the drastic delay! I have been quite busy, therefore leading to my absence and inactiveness on Scratch. I am so sorry once again! Aaaaaaand now; the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Drumroll please………. •••Truth••• Yes, folks, I said it; truth. As they say, “less is more”. The more vague it can be, the more creativity you get to play with in that mind of yours. While the truth can hurt at times, it is reality. Reality can be, at times, a monstrous thing. Yet, it can go a long way.
