Who are you voting for this time? The three new mob vote mobs in Minecraft Live 2023 are the crab, the armadillo, and the penguin. The crab spawns in mangrove swamps and drops the crab claw for extended reach while mining and building. The crab could also wave to you according to the trailers. The armadillo spawns in savannas and other warm biomes and drops scutes (not turtle scutes) that can be crafted into armor for your pet wolves. (It's about time!) The penguin spawns in cold biomes like the frozen ocean. It is an excellent swimmer, but pretty clumsy on land. It will help your boats go faster. One of these mobs will be added in the 1.21 update.

Honestly, I kinda hate that they linked each mob to a mechanic and each mechanic to a mob. Most people want the penguin, but the penguin is linked to a reused mechanic (ice can already make speedy boats). No one wanted the armadillo, and yet, they have a mechanic that many players (including myself) have been wanting for years. The crab is just there looking cute.
