Mother was telling me to stay quiet when a brown beast attacked her. I'll never forget the gurgling cries of pain she let out before she... she turned into one of them. A zombie and she ran off... She... She killed another, and another, and another... I rotted in the bushes, watching this play out. Father died two days ago, not from... this. Father starved to death to feed me and Mother, but now... I have to feed myself and survive... These beasts. I'll live in the bushes for now, and store my food here. I hope I'll be able to hide from them in this bar of bushes. I can't live like this forever... Without Mother's warmth next to me... To comfort me... Tears are ruining my writing, I'll write more next week.
