WARNING: The surreal song, Deep Crown, may seem bewildering, but only if you know what actually HAPPENS in the scene where this plays. Scroll down from here if you are willing to know of the realization that is nigh. Double King finds himself in the giant crown of the Mountain King. This huge deep crown is where he finds another crown of a mushroom queen. This is one of the crowned creatures we see that doesn't instantly die by its first time on screen. He sees a bird that has feathers arranged in a way that makes it look like it has a crown. Remember, he's a snail, so he's not really all that intelligent. He gets lost in the forest after being led into madness by it, and the Hæm scene begins. Desperate for a crown, he cuts his finger off, with the small crown ring around it.
