On August 6th, 2004, eight HT-69 helicopters spread out over the island at high altitude to scout out the terrain. Steel Mace anti aircraft defenses shot down three of the aircraft, and another crashed after trying to break away from flak fire. The remaining four used specialized aircraft-mounted radar technology to locate the positions of rocket stockpiles. This information was then used to launch a cruise missile strike from a Justice-class cruiser onto the rockets. It is estimated around 30 rockets were destroyed, and 9 more gone missing, as well as some equipment used to launch the rockets Casualties: New Palen 4 HT-69 helicopters (+3 damaged) 39 KIA 27 wounded 9 MIA/captured Steel Mace ~30 rockets (+9 missing) 2 MLRS 12 KIA 40 wounded 0 MIA/captured
