Is it weird that I find it easier, and often more interesting, to write scenes where the characters are experiencing some kind of pain? (And Erin's pain was nothing... you'll know that if my book ever gets published... everyone pity my 'favorite character' [not my main character. Just my favorite. You should see where it got her.])
