"Unghhhh," I groan, rubbing dirt out of my eyes. I sit up and find a nose licking me. Wait. A nose licking me? Slowly, I stand up and see a large gray shape in front of me. It has a long trunk and huge ears. Still tired, I look at it for a moment before realizing that it's an elephant. My jaw drops. There's a freaking /elephant/ in front of me. I slowly back away because I'm pretty sure that's what you're supposed to do in an elephant encounter. It trumpets at me. It's not full size, and I assume it's a baby. I can't leave this poor thing out here- it's safe for now, but who knows if the storm will come back? I walk in the direction I think is my home. I cross barren landscape which is kinda all you see in Africa, but I don't see the little cozy huts that me and my neighbors live in. I turn and look into the little guy's stormy eyes, and say "Welp, we're lost."
