I made this project originally for Halloween but when I heard that black cats where sometimes harmed, or even tortured just because people thought they were associated with witches and bad luck, I was horrified and decided to make a project dedicated to these beautiful cats. ---HISTORY--- Black cats are often associated with witches, bad luck, and the dark side, and are often used for pranks, party props, and even satanic, sacrificial rituals around Halloween because people think they are evil. Because of this, many animal shelters have refused to adopt out black cats on or right before Halloween out of fear they will be tortured or sacrificed. Some people will even kill black cats of just dump them the next day. Black cats are also least adopted because of these beliefs. Black cats are beautiful and loving animals that deserve respect and care, not fear and hatred. Please do not harm any black cats or any other animals on Halloween or any other day. Black cats are wonderful pets and I know this because I have two sweet black Kittys of my own. This project is for them! Fun fact: Black cats are known for being one of the sweeties cat breeds. :) ➵ INSTRUCTIONS: --setting-- It is around Halloween and Spooky has been dumped by his owner, because they fear he is associated with witch crafts and believe he is bad luck.
