Scratchtober is coming up (Oct 17) and I can't wait. For Scratchtober last year, every project I made had my characters in costume, so I've decided to continue that Here's the costumes for this year (with the reference in the middle)
And down here is WHY I chose these costumes Cyan as Megaman:Part of Cyan's redesign was inspired by Megaman, especially the gloves and boots, so I decided to just go with Mega Marco as Wario:Marco was Luigi last year (shocker I know) so I went with Wario this time cause yellow hat Luca as E. Gadd:Luca was (supposed) to be Mario last year, but this year he had a different idea and decided to not match Marco, going as the "brilliant" Professor E. Gadd (Luigi gave him the idea) Random as Rayman:Do I even need to explain this? no limbs, R name, six letter name, Rayman was revived recently, etc. Blinky as a rat:All jokes aside, Bendy is obviously based on Mickey and Blinky is based on Bendy, so mouse costume Yellaknight as Kirby:I was gonna have him be metaknight, but I've already made that joke so he gets Kirby Doctor Dee as Bandana Dee:Self explanatory Vibi as a Shiny Beedrill:Honestly I had NO idea what to do for Vibi, so green bee cause HA Jes as Rosalina:This is more an inside joke, since I made Jes wear the Rosalina outfit in Miitopia (also I needed to redeem myself for the terrible version of this costume from last year) Bomb as a Minecraft Dirt Block:I look like a Minecraft dirt block? I LOOK LIKE A MINECRAFT DIRT BLOCK?! (The jokes write themselves) Gallslash as... himself?:So these two sprites are the two versions of the Gallade/Aegislash fusion from Pokemon Infinite Fusion (a game about fusing pokemon) and Gallslash is a pokemon fusion (made BEFORE infinite fusion might I add) so yeah I gave him their color schemes cause GOOD LORD do you see those designs Greg as Shiny Greg?!?:Need I go on? (Also green scarf since it's normally red) Nerd Bones as a Dark Bones:Nerd as a different kind of Bones enemy (Bro got burnt) Parratroopa as a Squirtle:I thought it would be funny Flare as a Turtonator:Like the joke before but funnier since both have fire powers Eavth as a fairy:Yeah I also had NO ideas for Eavth, so here's an idea from a random google search (I don't know who the ref character is so don't ask) Drake as the Red/Blood Sea:This was the only idea I had, but I actually really like it, water boi gets a red head (wait that doesn't sound right) Mike as Protoman:A continuation of Cyan's costume, Mike goes as the other mega hero, Protoman Glitch as Vegito:So I don't watch/read anything Dragonball BUT I do know Vegito is a fusion of Goku and Vegita, so boom fusion dressed as a fusion EC as Goku:EC is Goku so that the Vegito joke with Glitch makes sense. EC is Goku over Vegita because EC is funnier, like Goku Corruption as Vegeta:Corruption is Vegeta so that the Vegito joke with Glitch makes sense. Corruption is Vegeta because EC made more sense as Goku Wispy as Whispy Woods:Read their names again and tell me that's not funny, I'll wait (I know it's not funny please don't flood my comment (╥﹏╥) ) Metal Cyan as Metal Sonic:Take out their unique names and their both Metal, plus Metal Cyan is like Metal Sonic but Me instead of Sonic so... Dark as Bass:The finale to the Megaman joke, Dark is Bass, the one who's usually bad so yeah, the good, the bad, and... the third? I don't know Mike's there too I guess Laser as- wait that's ME!:I...w- what? (Laser is Cyan from a parallel world so he decided to dress as me, seeing as he already had that outfit lying around so he could pretend to be me, for evil purposes and stuff) Jade as Ashley:Seeing as Jade already had a witch look to her, it only made sense (especially since I add pigtail like parts to Jade's head, felt off looking at Jade with just a circle head) And that's everyone...wow how did you survive all that reading?
