The Vunla-Class Assault Ship, named after the planet Vunla-III that was blown up in the war against Phi, was first designed to carry large groups of soldiers onto planets with some minor defences, the final design has stronger turbolasers that allow it to go head-to-head with other ships around it's size and even hold it's own against larger ships for a while. Equipped with state-of-the-art shields along with 150 Heavy Turbolasers, 50 ion cannons and 250 anti-starfighter guns, this ship is designed to be able to quickly enter and exit a planet's atmosphere to deliver soldiers and vehicles to ground forces. Capable of carrying around 3,000 soldiers, 1,000 tanks or other vehicles of similar size and 800 Fighters or Bombers, this ship can be found in almost any fleet serving roles such as a landing craft, support for a larger ship such as the Imperium-Class or Starfort-2 Class or even a Capital Ship.
