Instructions

.. creekguard was lounging about camp, the bright sun overhead shining on his grey and white fur. his eyes were peacefully closed, and he wasn’t panning on doing anything today… but then his stomach growled. he sighed, rising to his paws wearily and giving a long stretch. he yawned as well, and looked at the prey pile. it was almost empty, and he saw that the camp was pretty much full. / no patrols out… / he thought to himself, tiling his head curiously. / guess I’ll go hunting then… / he added, directed his paws towards the nearest exit, and soon he broke out into the wilderness of thunderclan territory. he walked quietly around, weaving through the trees and leaping over the bushes that were in his way. this action hurt his side slightly, where the scar from the branch of the tree scraped him as he tumbled through the air, but since it wasn’t too deep, he recovered quickly, only leaving a wide scar in the scrape’s place. creekguard was wandering around for a while, when a horrid scent suddenly caught his nose. his ears perked up at the scent, and he tried to determine it. / shadowclan?? / he wondered silently, sniffing the air again. / no, / he concluded, / they smell strong, but not THIS strong. / he added certainly, frowning a bit. / couldn’t be windclan or riverclan… their scents are more fresh than whatever this is. he went down to the ground, sniffing at the multicolored leaves of leaffall on the ground. GROWL. creekguard froze at this sound, and looked up tentatively. and that’s when his world froze. standing right over him, teeth bared and drool dripping out of its mouth, stood a fox. creekguard's hackles rose instantly, and his heart began to speed up. his body was in a full-blown panic, and he felt like a bird trapped in the claws of a warrior. the fox hadn't moved at all, just snarled at creekguard and stared at him. creekguard waited for the fox to do something, but found that it was just waiting for HIM to do something. he swallowed nervously, then backed away, eyes locked onto the fox. the fox was still frozen in time, just watching creekguard as he tried to back away. creekguard continued in his escape, but made the mistake of looking away, which lead to fox to snarl, then creekguard felt the ground drop away and sharp teeth digging into his scruff. he knew what was happening. the fox was picking him up. he desperately tried to wiggle out and slash at the fox, but his attempts were weak as he went numb all around. he was going to die. the fox was shaking him now. creekguard could see his own blood splattering around him, and he whimpered weakly, his eyesight clouding over. suddenly, he spotted a cardinal, perched apon a branch of an aspen. / aspenfaith. / beneath the branch that the cardinal was perched on, a single pink flower grew, just barely beginning to bloom. / russetbloom. / when the cardinal noticed the fox and him, it zipped away through the air. / zealzip. / and by a miracle, the cardinal zipped over and pecked the fox on the muzzle, leaving the fox in a state of confusion. / miracle... miracledance. / he frowned. like only a week ago, when he had a... a breakdown, to say the least, these cats were his reason to keep going, and he suddenly knew that he couldn't just give up now... the fox was distracted, and he knew that now was his chance. he grinned, and suddenly his eyesight cleared, and his yellow eyes shone with determination. he suddenly swing out of the fox's grip, flipping and landing of the fox's back. the fox snapped back to attention, and craned it's neck, nipping at creekguard. the fox's strong jaws barely missed creekguard's eye, and they snapped around his right ear instead. creekguard yowled in pain, and yanked his ear away, dismayed to see that thin slices of his ear-skin was in the foxes jaws. he frowned, then set his jaw with determination and bit down in between the fox's shoulders-- HARD. the fox yelped out in pain, this sound echoing through the entire forest. creekguard ripped away pieces of the fox's fur, bringing some skin with it, leaving big, red, throbbing patches than begun to bleed. the fox was running around wildly now, and creekguard had to do everything he could to hold on. but sadly, everything wasn't enough. creekguard flew off of the fox's back, and the fox automatically lunged at creekguard, eyes blazing in anger. creekgaudr met the fox's determined stare, and narrowed his own eyes, waiting for the fox to approach him. when the fox reached him, it dove at him, mouth open wide and teeth glinting with creekguard's blood, but creekguard was ready. he dove underneath the fox just in time, leaving it to bang into the tree heavily, making it dizzy. creekguard used this to his advantage and snapped his jaws around the foxes front leg, his small but sharp teeth digging into the fox's leg furiously. the fox yelped in pain at this, again whimpering. creekguard released his grip on the fox, hissing defensively. +

Description

[ continue from above ] - " GET OUT OF HERE, AND STAY AWAY, OR ELSE I'LL RIP YOU TO SHREDS!! " he knew that the fox couldn't understand him, and they he could actually never kill a fox all on his own, but he felt that threatening the fox would show it who's boss. the fox seemed to understand, and it scrambled away, whimpering loudly. creekguard hissed, his fur puffed out as he watched the fox retreat. when he was sure the fox was gone, his collapsed to the ground, eyes clouding over as the rush of adrenaline left his body and a wave of tiredness and pain swept over him. he could see the blood dripping down from the back of his neck on the ground, and felt the burning sensation on his right ear, but other than that, he felt victorious. tufts of fox fur was strewn around the clearing, and he quickly grabbed a clump of it, deciding to maybe make it into a token of success later. after laying there for a few more moments, he stood up shakily and hurried as fast as he could to thunderclan camp, despertaly searching for a medicine cat. .. ... wow!! that was a lot to write, and a lot to read [ if you read it ;) ] well, now creek had a torn ear and back of neck scars, too!! :DD yeyyyy ;-;
