Instructions

-=CONTROLS=- Left and right arrows - move Up arrow - look up Down arrow - duck Z key - jump! -=TECHNIQUES (dunno if i said that correctly)=- hold the Z when pressing the down arrow for a spindash :p You can also roll when running - press the down arrow when using the left and right arrows to move. Be warned: you can't really move left or right whilst rolling. You can make a remix of this project and make your own game. but however - if you leave anything unedited - you're making a copy remix! (no offence to anyone, though).

Description

i made this a while back, most likely at the end of 2015 (not sure if it was), it was a simple but a bit glitchy sonic engine that had two monitors: one was a shield (it worked!) and the other would give you 10 rings. but as well, there was only one enemy, that being the crabmeat (which is one of the enemies you can see on the thumbnail). you start off with 20 rings, and there was one thing i forgot: if you had got a shield and pressed the green flag afterwards, you would keep your shield, but the shield would disappear. you would only lose the effect if you got hit by the crabmeat. but don't worry, i edited it :p i will be finishing this engine on my pc, it will have scrolling and other stuff. how i did this was i had a SD card which i could transfer some of my stuff over from my laptop to my pc, it will have different sounds as well. There was music I made in Famitracker (as well as the sounds) which I tried to remake from sonic 1, but they sounded off key and not much like the actual sonic game, so i removed them. credits are here: sprites are from Sonic 3D Blast 5 / 6 / Somari (some NES/Famicom bootlegs). SEGA for making sonic.
