hello! for the second edition to this series is actually the most recent redraw i’ve done… for really no reason. pretty happy with this one! i picked this screen cap for fox “i do not gaze at scully” mulder ~not gazing~ 1 | final piece :D 2 | reference photo! 3 | first sketch! very vague—made to get some of the angles and height difference worked out. 4 | second sketch! pretty happy with him in this one but i was having more trouble with her (luckily i fix it) 5 | some edits~ I made his head tilt down more and changed her hair a bit, as well as finally fixing her lips! agh they had been bothering me so much 6 | lineart! pretty happy with this :D changed his nose a bit and their hair, but kept everything else pretty similar 7 | colors! not much to say here :P 8 | lighting~ also not a ton to say here except I think i dull down some of this later 9 | dark shading, i think this is mostly the flats which i then smudge around a bit 10 | said smudging. i also did a bit more shading and changed the coloring around her cheek and his neck to go with the reference more. 11 | background, along with the aforementioned lightening of the light shading 12 | some overlay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ idk what to say, i just did some yellow on their faces and around the top and some bluer stuff at the bottom 13 | final touches! some textures mostly (and eye shinies!) 14 | finished piece again ^^ 15 | reference again 16 | zoomed in on scully 17 | zoomed in on mulder et c’est fini! :D music ~ i want to get better by bleachers art ~ moi characters ~ the x-files
