MOMENTO MORI “Remember that you will die.” ————————————————— Hello! To celebrate the impending Halloween, TWCRP had came to a way which involves hosting a Halloween map in correspondence to the festival. This year, I am honoured to be hosting the Halloween MAP, Momento Mori! Momento Mori (Latin for 'remember that you [have to] die') is an artistic or symbolic trope acting as a reminder of the inevitability of death. The concept has its roots in the philosophers of classical antiquity and Christianity, and appeared in funerary art and architecture from the medieval period onwards. This is a Halloween MAP, remember? I will start sending out pings starting from the countdown two weeks, and then one week. To fit the cryptic vibe of the Momento Mori symbolism and to fit the beat of such a quick paced song I’d suggest drawing something creepy, not cutesy. AMV or PMV are fine, as long as you don’t overload your computer from loading in the MAP part. I don't do reserves. First come, first served. If you want a MAP part- please fill in the form, or else I will ignore your comment. - You must be in TWCRP - No animation experience necessary - Max 2 parts per person - Maximum 3 sprites, use as many sprites as you want, do not use the backdrop/stage - Your part must be a remix of this project -You may collab with someone (cxdewxrd is what character[s] you plan to use) -If you want, you can split your part in half and give the other half to someone else (excludes instrumental; most of these are two-stanzas) -Please ask the other owners before you use someone else’s characters; I give everyone permission to use mine (I.e Darkstar, Zagreus, Striker, etc) -Backups still must fill out the form, just put "Backup" instead of the part - If I don’t respond (within 24 hours) that’s a polite no -Parts are chosen on a first come, first serve basis ————————————————— THUMBNAIL RULES - You can be outside of TWC- but please use TWC characters not your own ones - Can be any cat, clan, etc., as long as it relates to TWC; you can use other people's characters (with their permission ofc) - Include something along the lines of “Momento Mori” and “A Complete TWC Halloween MAP” - Form/Codeword unnecessary, just remix and enter; don’t ask to enter, I won’t respond Please don’t bite off more than you can chew- I will restrict your maximum parts claimed to one, since I’ve shortened the duration of the song. In addition, a month is quite tight if your schedule is busy, and we still need to piece the MAP together, so we do need time too.
