After Versiculus Iratus, Mickey is reincarnated far in the past as a dead monkey trapped in a suit; in which he slowly suffocates. The pain is so slow and unbearable that it shatters his mind; causing him to forget about his past entirely. After living 88 years of this suffering, there was no trace of Mickey Mouse left. Calling himself Julian, he believes that he lives in Toyland - a place of infinite fun - with his best friend Fiddles the cat. Whenever he gets brief memories of his past, he simply believes they are nothing more than nightmares.
