Instructions

Welcome to the Hidden Blocks Collection! Please hit the green flag and read the text. Then look at the Inside of the Project. NOTE: The camera is turned off in this project. It's just a part of the list. Same thing with all of the other extensions. ______________________________________________ CREDITS: Credit to @LilyMakesThings for the "All Menus" extension Credit to the Scratch Wiki. [Specifically, https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Hidden_Blocks#Events ] @HelpfulScratchTools for the CoreEx blocks (Without him, I would have never known about this extension nor get the blocks!) Quick Fun Fact: the Notes and Credits [and instructions] Character Limit is 4886 characters, and I was 3 characters away from the limit!

Description

========= BLOCK DESCRIPTIONS ======== Block 1: The Red Hat block Description: It's literally just a pure red Hat Block that does nothing. It doesn't have a jigsaw piece below to connect blocks, which makes it even more pointless. Upon attempting to comment on the block, the comment is invisible or fails to find a place to attach to. I wonder why scratch even made this block in the first place. Usefulness Level: Absolutely Useless In Every Way Block 2: When this sprite touches (mouse pointer) Hat Block Description: It functions like a <is touching (mouse pointer)?> block but in a Hat block. You can change the spot with Mouse pointer, edge, and other blocks. Usefulness Level: Reasonable Block 3: For every (variable) in (number goes here) Description [from the scratch wiki]: The variable selected using the dropdown is set to 1, and increases on each iteration of the script inside the loop, until it reaches the specified end point. (For example, in the above example, the script inside would be executed 10 times, with the variable ranging from 1 to 10.) Usefulness Level: I guess Useful Block 4: While <boleen goes here> block Description: It is fundamentally the opposite of a "Repeat until < > " block. The script placed inside the block runs until the boolean is false. Usefulness Level: Convenient Block 5: All at once block Description: This block does nothing. It was implemented for backwards compatibility. In Scratch 2.0, this block functioned similarly to the "run without screen refresh" for custom blocks. Usefulness Level: Functionless Block 6: Glitched "My Block" Description: It is just a "My Block" but there isn't text or booleans in it. It doesn't do anything because it isn't hooked to anything. Usefulness Level: Truly Useless Blocks 6-8: The counter blocks Description: It functions like a variable, but you can only reset and increase the number by one only. Variables took their place because you could set and change the variable more and insert text. Usefulness Level: Needless Block 9: Go to (null) block Description: It's a Go to block but it just has "null" in it, likely meaning an error happened. Upon running it, nothing happens. Usefulness Level: Functionless Block 10-11 : Switch Costume to (Next costume} & {Previous costume) block Block 10 Description: A switch costume to block that works just like the next costume block. Block 11 does the opposite. Usefulness Level: Convenient Block 12-14: Switch backdrop to ( next, previous, and random backdrop) block. Description: It is like blocks 10 and 11 but there is now a random choice. [Grabbed from turbowarp.org . Still functions in scratch] Usefulness Level: Convenienter Block 15: <Loud?> block Description: A boolean block that tells if the microphone is loud or not. In Scratch 2.0 and 3.0, it functions it like this: It will return true if < (loudness) > (10) > , and will give false otherwise. In Scratch 1.X it replaces that (10) with a 30. Usefulness Level: Not really needed Block 16-19: Broken blocks Description: They are just broken blocks that return 0. Usefulness Level: Useless Block 20 & 36: Matrix block (Block 20 is a join one) Description: A block that (on #20) in the left spot, works as a 5x5 grid that is customizable from green to white. When running the block, it gives out 1s and 0s depending on the Grid choices, with whatever the right spot contained. Unfortunately, you can't customize these outside the editor. Usefulness Level: Very cool, but has limitations Block 21: HTML color codes join block Description: A join block that has a color picker on the left. When running, it outputs the HTML color code of the color with whatever the right spot contained. Like Block 20, the Color Picker can't be customized out of the editor. Usefulness Level: Very Convenient, but has limitations Block 22: Piano Round block Description: A truly peculiar block that functions like the Instruments Extension. Typing in numbers shows keys that are assigned to the number. Usefulness Level: Kinda, but not really Blocks 23-34 & all of the "XTRA All Menus blocks" sprite Blocks: All Menu blocks Description: Ripped from the Turbowarp extension, "All Menus" by @LilyMakesThings , it is all of the drop downs of all of the Lists. In the "XTRA All Menus Blocks" sprite I ripped all of the Extensions' menus into that sprite. Usefulness Level: Fun to mess around with and can be useful in certain occasions Blocks 35-36 (in the "XTRA All Menus blocks" sprite): CoreEx Blocks Description: Scratch's testing CoreEx extension for testing new extensions. (Due to the character limit, I can't explain it in detail. See: en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Hidden_Blocks#CoreEx_Extension) Usefulness Level: Not too useful, but in some cases it can be.
