Hello, everybody! Thank’s for coming! Don’t mind the random timing of this project, but I have an opinion to share… I want to tell you what I think Scratch is about… I joined Scratch, because I wanted to be a game developer, and so I enjoy making games! I don’t think Scratch is about popularity or followers. I don’t think Scratch is about getting one of your projects on trending. I think Scratch is about doing what you love! I like making games! I don’t care if I make followers off those games. I don’t care if others like the games I make. All I care about is that I like the stuff I make, and I have fun making it. I’m not that popular of a Scratcher, but I enjoy Scratch, because I can do what I love: sharing art, comics, and coding games! If you see a Scratcher that has more followers than you, don’t get jealous. How that Scratcher got that amount of followers they have is by working for it. If you see a Scratcher that has less followers then you don’t think they are inferior to you, think that they are working up to more followers, and go ahead and support them! If you are a Scratcher who doesn’t have that much followers, don’t feel bad, just go back to doing what you love! There are so many fame hungry Scratchers out there… don’t be fake hungry! There are so many better ways to enjoy Scratch than being fame hungry! Scratch isn’t a popularity contest, it’s a place where people from all over the world can come… and make great things! So if you feel like you need popularity, just think about the reason you joined Scratch, and go back to working hard, and doing what you love! There are so many great Scratchers out there, like @ItzMini @-LavEnderHJT- @GBScratcher @ MIK3Y_C00LSZ @xXDiamondAnimatesXx (who is moving to the account @Teenimations ) just to name a few, have the amount of followers they have, because they worked for it! So my message to you all today is work hard, Scratch on, and continue doing what you love! Thank you, keep Scratching, -Mega
