Try adjusting variables, or just enjoy the fantasia. Different sliders appear for each new simulation. Spacebar or "H" to hide variables. The spirals of flowers are made up of florets that turn with an angle of about 137.508 ("golden angle"). Changing the angle from that will lose the perfect spacing of the golden angle spirals. For number of colors in the sunflower spirals, I like 3, 5, 8, but try other numbers.
Simulated tree and flower animations and sketched animated trees. Cheshire cat head appears at end. The tree itself comes from my project of last autumn entitled "Fractal Fall Foliage." The sunflower numbers from my "Golden angle spiral numbers." Sunflower flowers from my Golden angle spirals in a whirl and Garden of Golden angle spirals. Snowflakes from my "Snowflake generator" (project 764512283). Edited Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll, illustrated by John Tenniel. Kathy drew the black and white girl based on our design and modeling it after the simulated trees the code generates. I inserted the 6 black and white tree images, fading one into the other. My coded tree then sprouts, pen branches and clone buds and leaves. Music: Debussy, Danse Sacrée et Danse Profane, part 2 (of the two dances this is the Danse Profane).
