Starting Arcs : < Gender arc > SRP ~ "What's this.. thing?" ~ Start of Gender Arc Sea-Turtle. He, him. That didn't sound right. Well, it did! It sounded very right. But... not it. It felt incomplete - just , not it. It wasn't *it*. It was part of it , as he felt like a boy! He did. But... There was something else. Not a girl, no. He did *not* want to be a girl. Not a "mix" or a non-binary, because he didn't wanna be a girl and a boy. "They, them does sound pretty cool," Sea-Turtle mumbled to himself as he sat on his outside cat-playground, staring down at the reptiles that crowded his backyard. Three reptiles - a snapping turtle, who had his own little pond in the corner. The bearded dragon - which just.. existed? It didn't really.. do anything. And then the gecko - he stayed inside, and just chilled in there. Seaty didn't know how he did that. Wait, that was off-topic. Going back to his contemplating, Sea-Turtle focused. Hard. What *was* he? Seats didn't know. He was a boy - he was! That much was for sure. But he was *more* than just a boy. Should he try out different things, like the other apprentices and warriors of the clans did? That sounded like a good idea. A really, really good idea. Just - try things. Just not a girl. He didn't wanna be a girl. For sure not that. "So I'm a boy, not a girl, but still something else?" he asked himself, confused. This problem really was for another time, as it really wasn't something to have discussed right now. Especially with himself. Maybe Rabbit'roar - or Nobi - would be able to help him? They had they/them/fae/faer pronouns, and though Seaty knew he didn't want those, he knew that Nobi could at least *help* him. And maybe someone else, too. But who else did he have? His list, was empty. No friends. No family. Just.. cats. That he had met. That would had frustrated him, if he was easily flustered and extroverted. But actually, he was happy it was that way. Other than family. He wanted family - not just Nobi, but a *family*. But, that was for a different time. Well, time to ask around. Might as well.
Things to ask admin!!!! : ( Admin to ask : Dove (done and said yes), the shadowclan admin , and possibly a ceo? Snooze'star, too! and maybe deputy? i don't think so-? ) SO SO! If you are an admin that i asked you to look at this for perms, this is where you'll see what you need!! i would like sea-turtle to *temporarily* join shadow'clan!! reasoning : 1. Sea-Turtle is planned to have mostly friends in Shadow'clan , and most are young apprentices or kits. Young apprentices can't really leave without a mentor - and kits , well, can't leave camp. So it would be an opportunity for Seaty to meet those cats , and just get friendly enough with them that visits could be arranged. As let's be completely real, accidental , not planned border meets don't happen that often. So, it would just be a start to The Group TM (hehe i see you guys) , since that WHOLE group but him is Shadow'clan. 2. Sea-Turtle has been curious about the clans for a while , but is still weary about his two-leg home. So, I think I would have him ask Snooze'star if he could just sorta be a visitor - and just see if he liked how things ran and such. Because, though joining a clan seems like fun, he loves his house-folk, his reptiles, and his neighbors. It would be the realization that he isn't a fan of clan life, and he would much rather have his house-folk. 3. Seaty has a deep love for nature. Back at his house, he can't really view much, since, you know, man-made things. And Seats can often be found trespassing through clan territory - so why not just live on it for a while, so he wouldn't be yelled at for being around the area? He's an especial fan of Shadow'clan lands, as he blends in them well, and the temperatures and land fits Sea-Turtle's build and pelt quite well. 4. I would like to have Sea-Turtle know basic livings - like hunting, fighting, herbs, etc. since he's always outside, rather than in his house. Eventually I want him to be able to just hang outside for a couple days straight during summers and springs, but, I want him to have basic knowledge. As much as his friends could train him out of camp, that is against their warrior code (but who cares about those lol /j), and eventually it could get suspicious about how much they're skill level is going much and how much time they're spending outside. Of course, that is potential plots, but I'm looking for reasons for this to happen haha. 5. Back to friends, but a different reason! This is sorta a restatement , but The Group TM (his main friend group) is part of Shadow'clan. I was thinking that even after Sea-Turtle leaves Shadow'clan , that he could still have a sorta friendly way / alliance with Shadow'clan , and maybe even come visit camp once in a while? I was thinking things like he wouldn't get scolded at for being on clan territory (so he could visit his friends) , he could come talk to clan cats , and like stated previously, he could maybe even visit once in a while? a very special and occasional thing, but just something for everyone there to be like "ahh sea-turtle you've come to visit!" not just that , but Seaty would be more than willing to help out around camp when needed , like a little extra helper on occasion! 6. I want something interesting to happen in Seaty's life. Right now , his life is sorta bland. Which makes sense - he's young. But I feel like it could be a start of a new adventure , a flipped page. He has many things to start learning and such, and Shadow'clan could be a great opportunity for him to do so! He would learn things like sexuality (which he doesn't know of yet) , stories , and maybe even warrior cat insults ! Just silly little things that could make him more interesting as a character. (my) plan: Sea-Turtle comes to Shadow'clan, and requests to see their leader. He asks Snooze'star if he could maybe stay as a visitor - and explains why (will be like im obsessed with your territory, i think this is cool, etc.) He will explain his situation, and get accepted in as Sea-Turtle'paw. Two to three moons later, Sea-Turtle'paw decides. He does not wish to be in a clan. He has made friends, but is ready to go back home. He explains to Snooze'star this - and gets given freedom to go back home , and come visit whenever he likes. Sea-Turtle then visits from time to time, and comes to see his friends all the time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I need perms for this to occur , along with consent from the leader's roleplayer that they would allow this to happen.
