CW: flashing & eyestrain, minimal violence, eyes edit: THE MAP IS DONE!!! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/912021391 flag 2x; the project isn't too dense but sometimes the audio needs to be reset (if you fullscreen as well it will lag a lot) I'm probably going to format my project descriptions like this for the foreseeable future --- Project Content: -If you've read my Nightshade DTAE then you know what's happening here! yes, it's mutiny time no, I will not explain further - read the DTAE for context lol https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/820792553/ *shameless advertising* -and in a carnival too! but ig then again Nightshade wouldn't really be possessed - it would be her construct magic taking over causing the change in eye color as it does in canon SB -ngl the vibes I'm getting from this map are similar to those I got when I read Ray Bradbury's "Something Wicked This Way Comes" last year... if you haven't read it, please do so - it's a good book! (but like, haunted carnival, magical possession - definitely similar!) -oh and also for Wind - I've edited the audio (aka beefed up the volume) in the part sprite for dramatic effect. You will need to go in and replace the audio with the right one in the backdrop so that the volume doesn't suddenly explode lol I also messed with p4 and p6's audio btw but that's probably obvious --- YT: n/a --- Art/Animation Talk: -oml that background to soooooo long! I'm pretty proud of it tho -Please let me know if I need to change Nightshade's colors - I used the secondary color for her fur because she canonically has dark fur and fur contrast usually helps the viewer differentiate between chars better but if I need to change it I can ^^ -trying out a yt map part format lol mostly because it looked weird starting immediately on the flashes so I needed to put something before it lol -practicing with my new animation method! Once again, it's much less clean but also a million times faster :) this allows me to focus more on the fluidity of the animation and not the length. -imagine asking if pmv was allowed and when it was still animating amv anyways couldn't be me /j I told myself I had so much schoolwork that I'd make the pawstep scene the only amv part and then I went ahead and animated the lipsync and the wall slam too -man, I feel like I've improved quite a bit since the Stronger parts, my last parts for one of Wind's maps - there's more movement to the lipsync and hey, the chars fighting AcTuAlLy ToUcHeD eAcH oThEr!!1 /hj --- Extra: props to you if you made it this far down in the description lol hope you enjoyed the animation!
