◦°☆꒷꒦⋅. ⚓︎ .⋅꒦꒷☆°◦ tempestsplash has become chirppaw's mentor and now I get to do a training guide ◦°☆꒷꒦⋅. ⚓︎ .⋅꒦꒷☆°◦ » this is what tempestsplash will teach chirppaw during her apprenticeship » moon 1 ⤷ get to know each other, learning about the clans, exploring & memorizing the territory ∘ during the first moon, tempestsplash will do a sort of relaxed 'intro' to her training, and mainly just teach chippy how to travel around riverclan territory and not get lost, along with a basic overview of the other clans ∘ also they'll get to know each other, and probably do some fun things as well » moon 2 ⤷ learning how to swim, tracking & scent identification ∘ after showing chirppaw the territory, tempest will move on to swimming! she'll teach chippy to hold her breath for long amounts of time, swim quickly and quietly, be able to swim even in rough waters, and to carry/drag a heavy thing from the water to shore ∘ she'll then teach chirppaw how to identify scents and to track them, and show her how to track a cat or other animal ∘ swimming will take up the majority of training during this moon, as tess wants to make sure her apprentice can swim well before moving on to other skills » moon 3 ⤷ hunting skills/tactics, agility training, basic survival skills ∘ now that tempestsplash has trained chirppaw to swim, she going to move on to hunting! tess really only knows how to catch fish, so chippy's hunting abilities might be a bit limited. however, tempest will do her best to try to teach chirppaw to catch other prey as well ∘ tempestsplash will also make chippy come on runs across the desert with her, in order to learn how to run quickly and for long distances. she'll teach chirppaw to be light on her paws, and able to go quickly and steadily on narrow or slippery surfaces. tempest is very clumsy, so don't expect chirppaw to become super good at this. ∘ tess'll give chirppaw a few simple survival lessons, such as locating water, staying warm/cool in different conditions, and how to temporarily patch up injuries recieved from battle. she'll also teach chirppaw to navigate using the sun to determine directions, as well as finding shelter if she's ever lost. » moon 4 ⤷ fighting skills, learning how to defend yourself, identifying threats ∘ next tempest will start battle training with chirppaw! tempestsplash's fighting skills are somewhat limited, due to the fact that she's a tripod cat and had to modify fighting moves to fit her lack of a front paw. tempest may or may not ask one of her friends to help with this part. she'll probably also ask another apprentice to do a practice fight with chirp. ∘ tempestsplash will also mainly focus on self-defense during battle training, as she prefers that cats learn to keep themselves safe with their skills then use their abilities to hurt others. ∘ identifying threats! this sort of goes with the tracking & scent identifying learned in moon 2, though tess will focus more on learning what is dangerous and how to avoid it. she'll teach chippy about poisonus plants, agressive predators, and just generally anything that would fall under the category of 'harmful'. » moon 5 ⤷ learning about caring for others, basic manners, problem solving ∘ as chirppaw nears the end of her training, tempestsplash will move away from physical skills and abilities and start working on chippy's manners and how she presents herself. she also wants chirppaw to learn to respect those older than her, and will often want her to help out with the clan, doing the 'classic' apprentice tasks such as hunting for the kits, caring for the elders, cleaning out the dens, and potentially helping the medicine cats. ∘ tess wants her apprentice to learn good manners as well, such as not interrupting other cats, waiting patiently, respecting others, and stuff like that. ∘ she'll also give chirppaw a bunch of 'possible situations' and ask chippy to give her solutions to the problems, just to make sure that chirppaw has good problem-solving skills and doesn't come up with silly solutions that probably won't work » moon 6 ⤷ reviewing everything & going over anything that needs extra attention, relaxation time ∘ lots of reviewing, and tess will do an extra lesson on any topics chirppaw has problems with ∘ stargazing ∘ once they finish with reviewing things, tempestsplash will let chirppaw do whatever she wants for the last bit of her apprenticeship » end of moon 6 / moon 7 ⤷ final reviews for assessment, warrior assessment ∘ tempestsplash will give chirppaw her warrior assessment » additional notes ⤷ tempest will have a more relaxed way of teaching, doing things a more 'fun' way instead of just bringing chirppaw to some random place and talk on and on about what they're learning about that day ⤷ she'll play lots of games with chirppaw, each one based off of what they're learning ⤷ if you have any questions/need stuff to be clarified/have ideas for training, please tell me! ◦°☆꒷꒦⋅. ⚓︎ .⋅꒦꒷☆°◦
