READ CAREFULLY AND READ ALL OF IT. THE CONTEXT IS IMPORTANT. NOTE, the characters age like humans. 18 is when they' re considered an adult. press space or click Okay, so for context. A few weeks ago, I was bored and did one of those "crack shipping" memes with some of my characters. The way I determined the number for each character is that I'd think of an OC, then, I'd generate a random number using a random number generator. Granite received the number 5 and Burrito the number 7. This ship (Granite x Burrito . . . which kind of hurts to write. . .) was the first prompt (the prompt was "5 asks 7 out on a date, how do they react?"). I thought this ship was absurd, so I started a short, joke animatic based off of it. However, as I was working on it, I suddenly wondered if this was really gross? Granite is canonically in his late fifties while Burrito is in his early thirties. However, I don't like ships with large age gaps, so I made the animatic in an AU where Granite is around Burrito's age, but the events of his life still play out in a similar manner (ex. his wife dies, he seeks revenge against the woman who killed her, his morals disintegrate, and he starts killing people). These are two characters who frequently interact in canon (platonically, of course, due to their age gap and since they're both married to other characters). They have a weird dynamic that I personally find interesting, but one that I need to flesh out more. Essentially, the question that I'm asking here is if this ship is considered creepy. Is this a creepy ship? Does the character's canonical interactions and age impact this joke, "crack" ship even if it takes place in an alternate universe where the characters are the same age? Note, that (as shown in the project), neither character gets an in-universe age up nor down. I personally find doing this to be weird. It's more like I took Granite when he was 30 and shipped him with Burrito when he was 30. I'm also going to absolutely slather the project with a disclaimer that I don't actually ship these characters because I don't actually want people to ship them. The canonical romantic relationships with other characters do not matter in this joke ship since it's not canon.

Description

PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS THAT YOU HAVE BELOW Burrito (brownish raptor; he/him) Granite (bluish-purple dragon; he/him) Both characters fully belong to me. idk I just don't want to come off as someone who supports problematic ships or something. I have little to no care for shipping; I don't usually find it very interesting so. . . I wanted to post this before posting the animatic. If this is creepy, then I'll change the characters and not finish the crack shipping meme. I may unshare later idk I feel like when I say that I don't actually take the project down. also, one thing that I find funny is that Burrito has been shipped with like, two characters while Granite has been jokingly shipped with at least two men and three women (wow!! so much rizz! real!) despite the fact that Granite is a disgruntled old dude who kills people. also woah!! duncezora vector art!!11 my vector skills are still bad right now but i want to get better maybe idk
